Four member institutions of the National
Health Students Association of Ghana (NAHSAG) have fought fiercely in a three-round
quiz competition organized by the National Health Students’ Association of
Ghana (NAHSAG). This was part of activities scheduled for the 10th Anniversary
Celebration of the national group among others.
After series of bouts in the qualifying
stages, the schools that made it into the final match were the College of
Health, Kintampo (COHK), University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Kwame
Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and University of Cape
Coast (UCC).
The event took place on the GTV 'What
Do You Know', hosted by Dan Afari-Yeboah on Sunday, 2nd August 2015 and was
telecast live on the national television.
Contestants were tested on areas of the profile
of NAHSAG, and MDGs 4, 5, 6.
This feat comes as a success to the
University of Health and Allied Sciences as one of the top, fast-growing tertiary
institutions in the area of health training.
Studio audience and viewers all over the
country were impresses with the dexterity with which the contestants Heyman
Peter Eric and Isaac Naandiribe answered the questions to victory.
